Medvedja –– Ljubisa Stefanovic from Leskovac, the Fortuna Fruit refrigerator owner, has prepared and distributed one thousand aid packages for all the farms with which he has business cooperation. The packages were distributed to families in Medvedja, Vlasotince, Crna Trava, in the territory of the Lebane municipality, and in the villages of Klajic, Vranovce, Popovce and Grgurovce.
"Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Fortuna Fruit has decided to somehow help the suppliers and raspberry growers with whom we have been working for years. Each farm received one package of food. We have distributed one thousand packages," Ljubisa Stefanovic, the owner of Fortuna Fruit, said.
Mr. Stefanovic says that he has 17 full-time workers, plus seasonal workers, and that none of them has been or will be fired because of the current situation.
“For the time being, we comply with all the prescribed measures, but if the current situation regarding the coronavirus worsens, I am ready to provide a 30 – day vacation to my workers,” Mr. Sefanovic said.
