Presevo, Bujanovac – According to the latest data from the Institute of Public Health in Vranje, a total of 67 people have been infected with the coronavirus in the Pcinj district. Among them are 33 residents of Vranje, while the rest of them are from other municipalities in the district, with the exception of Bosilegrad and Targoviste, where there have been no infected persons so far.

Presevo, Bujanovac – According to the latest data from the Institute of Public Health in Vranje, a total of 67 people have been infected with the coronavirus in the Pcinj district. Among them are 33 residents of Vranje, while the rest of them are from other municipalities in the district, with the exception of Bosilegrad and Targoviste, where there have been no infected persons so far.
According to Svetllana Stojanovic, the Head of the Institute of Public Health, the corona virus was confirmed in 39 men and 28 women.
“Ten persons died and nine were cured”, Ms. Stojanovic says.
In Vranje, 20 men and13 women became ill with the new virus, while the virus was confirmed in 21 people in Surdulica, in 12 men and 9 women. Among the infected in the district are three residents of Bujanovac, 2 men and 1 woman, while the virus was confirmed in 10 persons from Vladicin Han, 5 men and 5 women.
In Presevo, a man has been infected with the coronavirus, while Bosilegrad and Trgoviste are the only municipalities in the Pcinj district that are, for the time being, free of the new virus.
The Public Health Institute says that they are awaiting test results for another 180 people from the Pcinj district.
Six wards of the General Hospital in Leskovac are being prepared for the admission of patients from the Jablanica and Pcinj districts. The wards will be physically separated from the rest of the Hospital, with a separate entrance, so that the patients could not mix up with each other.
