Bujanovac – Bujanovac Spa will be ready to receive its first patients after the state of emergency as of Monday, May 18, MP Nenad Mitrovic said.

According the MP and employee of that health resort, the Ministry of Health ordered that the facility should be disinfected and that all preparations for the continuation of its operation from Monday, May 11, should be done. However, the beginning of operation of the said health resort was postponed for a week.

“We have decided to postpone the deadline, so that we could be completely sure that we have provided all the conditions for our patients’ safety. We are introducing all-day provision of health services, which has so far been done only in the first shift. Now, the treatment of outpatients, for whom a special entrance will be provided, so that they could be separated from the patients receiving inpatient treatment, will be carried out in the second shift," Mr. Mitrovic said.

He emphasized that all recommendations for preventing the spread of the corona virus in the Special Hospital would be followed. In the midst of the fight against the epidemic, the said hospital served as quarantine for the residents of that area who were returning from abroad. 

“A different way of working is a novelty for all of us. The health of the patients who will be coming to Bujanovac Spa for rehabilitation, as well as of our 68 employees, comes first.  We will take care of both of them”, Mr. Mitrovic said.
