Bujanovac – There are fewer students than last year by an entire class in the first grade of the elementary school "Branko Radicevic" in Bujanovac.
According to the Director of the school, Nenad Tasic, about 100 first graders, who sat in the school desks for the first time on Monday, were distributed in four mixed classes, with a maximum of 25 students each.
At the same time, the number of first graders from the Serbian community increased to 33, from last year 's 27.
Classes will not take place in the usual way for the purpose of preventing the spread of the coronavirus, while one of the changes involves a 30 – minute long class.
“The lower grades, from the first to the fourth, are divided into two groups of a maximum of 15 students each. Classes lasting for four hours will first be attended by group A, and then, in the continuation of the shift, by group B. The organization of classes is different in the higher grades, which will have combined classes, so that group A will go to school one day, and group B the next day. When they do not go to school, students will follow online classes via RTS, "said the Director.
He also said that there were a small number of students whose parents opted exclusively for online classes and who would not come to school at all, but would use the Google classroom platform and follow classes on RTS.
