As of Thursday, a special phone number 064/88 11 405 is operational, to which citizens can, through the Viber application, report non-compliance with epidemiological measures, especially with  those in catering facilities and other places where a large number of citizens gather, the Ministry of Health said.

Underscored in the statement, which was conveyed by the “Tanjug” news agency, was that the current epidemiological situation in the country was stable and that it was the result of the behavior of citizens who had shown that by complying with the measures, the epidemiological situation could be brought under control.

However, now that the coronavirus epidemic is erupting in all countries in the region and beyond, the situation in Serbia might change for the worse and deteriorate, especially if we keep in mind that there has been a noticeable complacency of the citizens and the weakening of compliance with the epidemiological measures in recent days, the authorities warned.

“Therefore, this is a turning point when the measures must be complied with in the same way as in previous months, and reporting non-compliance with epidemiological measures through the Viber application is one of the ways to maintain a high level of compliance with the measures, "the statement reads.
