Меdvedja –  Both in the world and in the municipality of Medvedja, the first week of October is reserved for marking the Children's Week through numerous children’s activities for exercising their rights. Children from the kindergarten of the preschool institution "Mladost" and students of the elementary school "Gornja Jablanica" marked this week with a series of activities. Due to the current situation caused by the corona virus, there were no group organizations this year, so that fancy dress parties and workshops were organized in smaller groups.

The preschoolers presented their works and messages regarding the Children's Week on exhibition panels in the hall of the Medvedja municipality building. A welcoming event with packets of sweets was organized for them in the open air, at the Medvedja sightseeing platform.

By reciting the songs, the children reminded the adults that they knew their rights very well, and one of the most important ones was to be happy and healthy. As a gift, they presented their drawings to representatives of the local self-government, which were handed over to the Municipal President by the Director of the preschool institution, Dobrila Andrejevic.

Children's Week is an opportunity to exercise children's rights through activities and various contents, respecting the individuality of each child and his-her need for playing and being creative.
