Vranje, Bujanovac, Presevo – Dr. Branislav Tiodorovic,  a member of the Crisis Staff, says that he will ask for the citizens of Serbia to be required to test for COVID-19 when entering the country, because, as he says, people from Vranje, Bujanovac and Presevo cross into Macedonia every day, and "the situation out there is disastrous”.

“It may be necessary to have a PCR or serological test in order to enter Serbia. I would require that for all our citizens as well. People from Vranje, Bujanovac and Presevo cross into Macedonia every day in order to purchase fuel, smuggle, trade…And the situation in Macedonia is disastrous. If they had been only in our country, they would not have had contact with the infected and would not be spreading the infection ",Dr. Tiodorovic says, “Sputnjik” reported.  

He said that a session of the Crisis Staff was scheduled for Thursday due to the sudden increase in the number of infected people, when it would be assessed whether some new protection measures would be introduced.  

The vast majority of citizens comply with the measures, he says, but the focus should be on the minority.

“Those who organize parties and spectacles with a huge number of young people are not allowed to do that anymore. The measures must be complied with, while all those who fail to do so should be locked up ", Dr. Tiodorovic says.

He added that for the time being, he was against the obligatory wearing of the mask outdoors.
