Мedvedja – The humanitarian campaign for collecting aid for the Njegus family from the village of Marovac was initiated by the Association of the Parents of Children and Persons with Special Needs "Heart for the Children".

Until just a month ago, the Njegus family lived in very difficult conditions, in a dilapidated house with a damaged roof. The campaign provided funds for the beginning of works on their family house in a short period of time. The roof was repaired before the start of the rainy and winter season, and a freezer and an electric stove were provided. The plan is to fix the ceilings and floors, as well as the dilapidated windows and doors, by the funds that are currently being collected.

The President of the Municipality of Medvedja, Nebojsa Arsic, together with his associates, visited the vulnerable family and on that occasion pointed out that he was extremely grateful to all people of good will, businessmen from Medvedja, and especially to the employees of the local self-government, who selflessly responded to the campaign.

The plan is to continue undertaking these activities and to provide aid to all the families that have these or similar problems.
