The Coordination Body for Gender Equality sent a public call to local self-governments in Serbia for the award of the annual recognition for the improvement of gender equality at the local level in 2020.
Cities and municipalities with an established mechanism for gender equality have the right to participate in the awarding of the annual recognition, in accordance with the procedure prescribed in this public call and with the submission of adequate supporting documentation.
The deadline for submitting applications is November 30, 2020.

The Coordination Body for Gender Equality of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, in cooperation with the United Nations Agency for Gender Equality and Women's Empowerment (UN Women), and with the financial support of the European Union, will present the awards at the traditional annual conference of local mechanisms for gender equality in mid-December.
