Bujanovac – The Municipal Board of the People's Party appeals to the leadership of Bujanovac to redirect the funds allocated for the celebration of New Year's holidays for the treatment of sick children.
As the coordinator of the party for the Pcinj district and Kosovo and Metohija, Sasa Arsic, says, it is not the time for pompous celebrations, stages and the fireworks, but it is time for local self-governments to support the Serbian citizens who are struggling to raise money to save children whose treatment cannot be provided by the state health fund.
“We appeal to stop the New Year's celebrations and not to turn on additional New Year's lighting. Instead, let's hope for the lives of these children. Instead of New Year’s squares and stages, let the children's smiles shine ", Mr. Arsis says.
