Leskovac, Vranje – The latest data from the Leskovac Institute of Public Health show that another 155 persons from the Jablanica district are infected with the corona virus, and most of the infected are employed persons. Over the past 24 hours, another 80 infected citizens were recorded in the Pcinj district.

The number of infected persons in the Jablanica district is not decreasing.  530 citizens have been tested for the new virus, and out of 155 positive persons, most of them are in Leskovac – 93. Also infected by COVID were 35 persons from Vlasotince, 13 persons from Lebane, 5 persons from Bojnik and 9 persons from Medvedja.  

Among the infected are 87 employed persons, 25 unemployed perons, 30 pensioners, 7 pupils, 5 students and 1 child, the Institute stated.

Currently, laboratory results for 48 tested persons from the Jablanica district are being awaited.

The situation is somewhat different in the Pcinj district, because there are twice fewer  infected persons (80 compared to 165) compared to yesterday, while 306 examinations were done in the COVID infirmary.

At the moment, 153 patients are hospitalized in the COVID hospitals of the Health Center Vranje, and 147 are positive for the corona virus.

There are 150 patients with bronchopneumonia, 46 of them are receiving oxygen treatment, while 20 patients were admitted for hospital treatment.
