Bujanovac – A journalist from Veliki Trnovac, Jeton Ismaili, sent an open letter to the councilors of the Municipal Assembly of Bujanovac, who should vote today for the budget rebalance, because it does not envisage co-financing of media projects.

Mr. Ismali said that the Municipality had twice annulled the competition for co-financing media projects in the course of the year, and added that he was speaking on behalf of all media workers in Bujanovac.

“On Friday, you have one last chance to support the budget revision in this form or to request changes. Remember, the media have made your voice heard even further, so that citizens know what you are doing. I am aware of the crisis, but the media are as important as the asphalting. This does not require any political implications. It is not a matter of any party, but is in favor of the protection of the public interest. That does not mean that we will protect you from criticism when you are wrong, but we will not hide your merits when you do the right things”, Mr. Ismaili said.
