Leskovac, Меdvedja – There is a slight decrease in the number of persons suffering from COVID 19 in the territory of the Jablanica district.  According to the latest data, out of 291 tested samples, the corona virus was confirmed in 58.

Out of that figure, 42 persons are from the territory of Leskovac, six from the municipality of Vlasotince, five from the municipality of Lebane, three from the municipality of Bojnik and two from the municipality of Medvedja.

Zorana Kulić, an epidemiologist at the Leskovac Public Health Institute, said for the RTS that the measures had yielded results, but that the epidemiological situation could deteriorate at any moment.

According to her, the emergency situation is still in force, there are still 200 people in hospitals, so that it is necessary to comply with the measures.

She pointed out that during the epidemic, the largest number of patients was among the working population aged 46 to 48.

Now, she says, a large number of patients are being recorded in the "Aktiv" plant, where about ten citizens get sick on a daily basis.
