He said that one of the key issues in Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja was education.

– Education, particularly the education of Albanians in Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja, is currently an issue that hasn’t been resolved properly, not because of a lack of activities on the part of the Republic of Serbia, but because of objective circumstances that had previously occurred – Mr. Markovic said.
Slobodan Draskovic, Mayor of Medvedja, said that enrollment of students in the extended departments of the Nis Faculties of Law and Economics would begin in Medvedja at the beginning of August. The entrance exam would be organized at the beginning of September, Mr. Draskovic said.

It was planned to enroll 30 future lawyers and economists, whose studies will be funded from the budget, as well as 35 future economists and lawyers, who will have to pay for their studies themselves. The mayor also said that they were working on organizing classes in Albanian.
