Sasa Jankovic, the Protector of Serbia’s Citizens, said yesterday in Medvedja that the greatest number of complaints lodged by the citizens of this municipality, as well as by the citizens of the municipalities of Bujanovac and Presevo, referred to poor administration.
„South Serbia’s citizens most often complain about the exercising of minority rights and about economic and social issues. Also frequent are the complaints lodged by the employees of the companies that have been privatized, who can’t realize their rights, “Mr. Jankovic said.
With regards to complaints against the exercising of minority rights, Mr. Jankovic asked Albanians to establish their National Council. „If they don’t wish someone else to deal with their daily issues, particularly with those related to their national rights, and then the solution is to establish their National Council, “the Protector of Citizens said.
