Around one hundred teachers and school principals are going to take part in the project that is implemented by the Institute for Sustainable Communities, the European Movement in Serbia and the German GTZ organization for technical cooperation. Under the plan, 750 students from Serbia should visit German schools, whereas the same number of German students should visit Serbian schools. Ten partnerships have been established so far, while, under the plan, another twenty partnerships should be set up, too.

What makes Bujanovac students unique is the fact that they are from the only two schools from the same city that applied for participation in the project. What also makes them exceptional is the fact that students with the Serbian and Albanian ethnic background found themselves in the same bus that was bound for Germany.

German teachers and students should come to visit Bujanovac next spring.
