Noting that that was his first visit to Bujanovac, the German Ambassador Heinz Wilhelm said that the opening of the Serbian language lab was important for the environment because it contributed to bringing closer the people with different cultures and nationalities that live there.

"Learning any language is important, but living in Serbia means that one primarily needs to know how to speak the Serbian language", said Ambassador Wilhelm.

Stressing the importance of knowing the language of the country where one lives, Deputy Head of the OSCE Mission to Serbia, Paula Thiede, said that the opening of the language lab in that school showed the importance of the Serbian language in that environment . .

The language lab is equipped with computers and other devices that will make it possible for students to master the Serbian language. Also, at least five students, who are studying the Serbian language at the University of Nis, will be able to use it.
