Leskovac – Due to the announcement about a reduction of wages by 10 percent, a one-hour warning strike will be held today in all the schools in the Jablanica district.
According to Aleksandar Nicic, the President of the Trade Union of Education of Serbia (TUES) for the Jablanica District, a warning strike will be organized by not having the first class in the first and second shifts in all the educational institutions.

“During the first class, the heads of trade unions will acquaint the employed with the requirements with which all four representative trade unions will appear before the Serbian government. These requirements include the exclusion of teachers from the program of 10 per cent pay cuts and the introduction of pay grades, as a form of payment of the employed in the sphere of education,” Mr. Nicic said.
Members of all four representative trade unions in the field of education will take part in the said warning strike.
