Belgrade, Presevo – The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Serbia announced that 97 irregular migrants from Belgrade had been transferred to the reception center in Presevo and that the police action would go on.  

The Minister of Internal Affairs, Aleksandar Vulin, said that the asylum system of the Republic of Serbia was one of the most organized ones in Europe and that migrants had to be in camps.

While paying a visit to the police officers, who took an action for finding irregular migrants in the territory of Belgrade on Friday morning, Minister Vulin pointed out that the Ministry of Internal Affairs cared about the safety of every person in the territory of our country and took care of everything that could endanger the everyday life of our citizens.

According to the statement issued by the Ministry of the Interior, in addition to Minister Vulin, the Director of the Police, Vladimir Rebiv, and the Republican Commissioner for Refugees and Migration, Vladimir Cucic, also visited the police officers.
