Sombor, Bujanovac – Yesterday, a police action of deporting 450 migrants from Syria, Afghanistan and Pakistan, who did not have a regulated stay in that city, and who were illegally staying outside the Reception Center, was organized in the area of the city of Sombor.
Sombor, Bujanovac – Yesterday, a police action of deporting 450 migrants from Syria, Afghanistan and Pakistan, who did not have a regulated stay in that city, and who were illegally staying outside the Reception Center, was organized in the area of the city of Sombor.
The migrants were illegally staying in a park near the Sikara Reception Center, on the outskirts of Sombor, then in the abandoned railroad cars near the train station and at several other places in that city.
They slept in the abandoned buildings and tents, and tried to reach the neighboring Hungary and Croatia in various ways. They left behind piles of garbage and mess.
Ten buses were provided for the transport of migrants to Bujanovac and Pirot.
The action of relocating migrants was organized by the Commissariat for Refugees and Displaced Persons, the City of Sombor and the Sombor Police Department.
Three weeks ago, the same action was organized, when 300 migrants were relocated to Presevo.
