Bujanovac, Belgrade – The Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government stated that four associations from Bujanovac had received 361,000 dinars from the budgetary fund for national minorities for financing programs and projects in the field of information in the languages ​​of national minorities.

The "Center for Democracy and Education – Valley" received 175,000 dinars, the "Attractive visions" 100,000 dianrs, the cultural organization "Alternative" 50,000 dinars and the Albanian cultural society “Perspective" 36,000 dinars.  

In 2017, a total of 1.8 million dinars was allocated for these purposes, and those funds are intended for the implementation of 25 registered programs and projects, including four from Bujanovac.

The decision on the allocation of funds from the budgetary fund for national minorities was reached by Branko Ruzic, the Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, who stated that the funds provided from the budgetary fund for 2017 were very small, but that it was a great success that the Ministry, after 15 years of existence of the fund, commenced the procedures for allocating funds and operationalizing the fund.

According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, under the 2018 Budget Bill, that amount was increased 12 times, so that 21.8 million dinars were provided for that purpose in 2018.
