Medvedja – This year, there are 120 vacancies for future secondary school students at the „Nikola Tesla“ secondary technical school in Medvedja, where classes are held in the Serbian and Albanian languages.

The school educates students for two areas of work, which are engineering and metalworking and economics, law and administration.

"In the 2018/2019 school year, 90 students will be enrolled in two four-year courses, as well as 30 students in two three-year courses. 30 students who attend classes in the Serbian language and 30 students who attend classes in Albanian language will be enrolled in a four-year course for economic technicians. Also, 30 students will be enrolled in a course for mechanical technitians. 15 students will be enrolled in three-year courses for auto-mechanics and in those for heating and cooling technology mechanics each, "said Goran Stevanovic, Director of the „Nikola Tesla“ secondary technical school in Medvedja.  

According to him, a sufficient number of students for all the courses is expectd. The largest number of students who are enrolled in the school is from the municipality of Medvedja, while a very small number of them are from the neighboring municipalities.

The classrooms and rooms for specific school subjets are equipped with computers, overhead  and slide projectors, so that lessons are presented to the students in a multimedia manner.  

The school in Medvedja has a separate facility for students of mechanical engineering, which includes workshops for practical training. The school also has the grounds for sports activities and a gym.
